History
The roots of Home Unlimited date back to 1977 with the establishment of Lexington College, in Chicago Illinois. Lexington College was started by three women who saw the need for educational advancement in the areas of hospitality and home management. Students graduating from Lexington College received degrees in Hospitality Management, with a concentration in culinary arts, hotel/restaurant management, event planning, and/or healthcare and wellness.
Lexington College has been responsible for the creation of many independent hospitality and home management programs for young girls and women of all ages since its closing in 2014. Home Unlimited is one such program, where at-home skills-based group lessons/events are held in the comfort of individual homes. Since its inception, Home Unlimited is now present in 10 states, with the expectation of continual growth to every state in the country. Home Unlimited continues to grow as a hands-on practical resource for women, as well as a trusted source for online information and classes to meet the needs of raising a family and managing a home in the twenty-first century.
