OVERVIEW and CLASS #1: 

Happy families, joyful families, and family members with hearts full of love come from a well-nourished home environment. The theme of the Family Synergy at Home Series is summed up in these words: “Parents have a mission: provide and protect, nurture and educate with this goal in mind—Happiness!” The “base of operation” for the mission of parents is the home, which is both a spiritual and physical space. This series presents the results garnered from research that reveal five practices that provide needed nourishment supporting happiness in family life (research bibliography is provided). The first class is an overview of these results and introduces the five practices: Connection, Play, Practice, Mastery, and Recognition.
